Hello all,

Thank you for visiting, perusing, or stumbling upon my page. I want to start by letting everyone know that I'm completely new at blogging and have pursued it because I have a passion for writing and want to do it more. KC's Quarters is where I've decided to just that. It is my needed escape from relentless research and academic writing, a place where I can express myself and grow as a writer. Currently, I am a successful scholastic writer and independent researcher, but as far as novels go (I've only started one) I'm a bit of a hack. Practice makes perfect though, and this is the venue. KC's Quarters is where I'll write for writing's sake--about my life, travels, studies, the books I'm reading. I'll also provide progress reports for the novels that I'm writing and insights about food, culture, society, politics and whetever else anybody wants to throw into the mix!

Now you know why I blog.

In this introductory post, I would really enjoy it if you would tell me a little bit about yourselves, why you blog/how long you've been blogging, and post links to your page(s). Also, any words of wisdom and/or tips that you can give a rookie blogger like myself would be much appreciated.
